职位描述:
Purpose of the Position:
Provides variety of administrative and clerical support in order to relieve staff and managers of administrative duties and details. Primary reporting relationship is typically to a manager at the Director level or below. May be assigned in various functional areas of the company.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
-Provides administrative support primarily to employees and managers up to, and including, the Director level. -Performs a variety of word processing assignments, which may include technical language, unusual formatting and/or graphic presentations.
-Maintains paper and computer records. May set up basic computer databases and/or generate reports.
-Serves as liaison with other Company departments, including Human Resources, Accounting, Purchasing, IT and/or Facilities.
-Coordinates processing of forms. Obtains information from other departments as necessary and follows up to ensure requests are carried out and any problems are resolved.
-Assists in planning, scheduling and coordinating departmental meetings and/or events.
-Coordinates with outside vendors as necessary.
-May perform departmental cost tracking and/or monitoring of expenses.
-May assist in development of office systems and procedures.
-Performs other support activities as necessary ( mail distribution, copying, faxing, travel arrangements, etc.).

HS & 2-4 years work experience
Knowledge/Skills:
High school diploma is required.
2+ years of administrative/secretarial experience is normally required. Excellent reading, writing, numerical and verbal communication skills are required. Must be well organized and detail oriented. Understanding of record keeping procedures and ability to organize information is necessary. In addition to aptitude with basic office equipment, some computer training is necessary. Experience with one or more word processing, spreadsheet and graphic programs (Powerpoint) desired. May require some background in particular functional area. Requires ability to proficiently perform a variety of office procedures.

Problem Solving/Judgment:
Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
Decision Making:
Generally follows established processes and procedures, however can exercise decision-making when determining which issues to escalate to more senior employees or manager.
Supervision:
Supervision Required:
Primary reporting relationship is typically to a manager at the Director level or below. Assignments performed under general supervision, normally receiving no instructions on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
Supervision Given:
Has no supervisory responsibility, but may provide guidance to less experienced administrative employees in department or functional area.
Contacts:
In addition to their work group and immediate manager, contacts are regular with non-management personnel and intermittent with management personnel, typically on routine matters. Also, contacts with outside vendors, caterers required when organizing meetings.
